Their products are sold globally and cover various markets. Their production facility is located North of Paris in France. As a member of the Industrial Sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for the planning, implementing, controlling, monitoring and evaluating the sales operations of the business unit, and providing subject matter technical expertise, support and service to the Industrial customer base. Key Responsibilities: ⦁ Participate in the development and maintenance of the sales vision and strategic plan that meets the goals and objectives of the company. ⦁ Achieve departmental objectives by contributing marketing and sales information, participating in the development of, and providing recommendations to, the strategic business plans and reviews; preparing and completing of action plans and reporting out progress; implementing design, production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change in the areas of new and existing business development. ⦁ Manage the development of new business and the retention of existing business for the sales division; Develop and cultivate customer relationships with the appropriate decision makers within new and existing customer base; Determine and present the trends in terms of wants and needs of our customer base. ⦁ Provide customer facing technical support and service; drive technical-based strategic initiatives forward. ⦁ Liaise and collaborate with manufacturing teams (production, quality, engineering, etc.) to ensure customers’ needs are met. ⦁ Follow established systems, procedures and policies and oversees the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization’s industrial sales programs and services to ensure that the programs and services offered by the organization contribute to the company’s mission and reflect the priorities and quality standard. ⦁ Participate in the annual budget and sales plan for the business unit and reports progress towards planned goals on an on-going basis to company Leadership. ⦁ Identify and evaluate the risks to the organization’s people, property, finances, goodwill, and image and communicates to Senior Leaders. Recommend and manage measures to control risks. ⦁ Establishe good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with internal and external customers to achieve the goals of the organization. Experience and skills required: ⦁ Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent discipline; degree within the chemical engineering, chemistry or material industries would be ideal. ⦁ Three to five years of experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment having gained strong knowledge of the technical aspects of the products including construction and physical aspects, test methods, technical specs and standards, etc.; ⦁ Strong understanding and knowledge of the marketplace, competitor products and applications, etc.; ⦁ Must have excellent communication skills, both French and English, in order to liaise with various representatives within the company as well as externally at the customer; German or Spanish would be a plus; ⦁ Strong knowledge of applicable codes, compliance, product approvals required. ⦁ An entrepreneurial individual who is self-motivated and results focused For EU roles, candidates must be eligible to work and live in the European Union.
