Content skills: Location:Oman - Oman Function:Sales / Business Development Industry:Hotels / Hospitality Experience:2 - 3 Years Deadline:2020-04-25Job DescriptionAn exciting role has arisen for a talented Sales Manager to join the team at Al Baleed Resort Salalah By Anantara OmanYou will be responsible for managing the relationship, qualify and evaluate accounts, sales solicitation for group and individual business for catering, food & beverage and rooms in general within Corporate segment from Muscat and GCC marketReporting to the Director of Sales, the successful candidate must ensure that the resort is the first choice for assigned accounts and that revenues are maximizedThis is a great opportunity for a suitably experienced professional ready to take that next career step and build a future with a world class, luxury brand and industry leaderMain DutiesDrive Corporate and groups business from Muscat and GCC marketEducate customersaccounts on the product and services at the resortBuild rapport with key corporate accountsComplete assigned sales calls on a daily basisConduct site inspections when neededConduct regular competitor s surveys on events being held at competitor hotels and follow-up with introductory letterWhen required attendschedule lunch entertainment for Key accountsSchedule call to be made one week in advance and share this information in the daily sales briefingsTo develop a practice of weekly sales call plan in order to help better planning in terms of time management, sales objectives and who we want to seeOrganize business entertainment to include luncheons, dinners,Track and share information regarding new business trendsUnderstand factors that affect the market, inform management accordingly and come with the solutionKeep track of the competitors regarding special promotions and rate packagesCommunicate effectively to ensure that the sales function is carried out smoothly and commitments are metMake at least 20 sales calls weekly on the accounts in assigned areas, of which has to include at least 3 new accounts every weekDress in a manner which is conductive to business environment whereby first impressions reflect on the hotel image.
