Over the coming 12 months we will be bringing SpotCap into the Zip Co family and this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to initially work directly with SpotCap and longer term transition into the Zip Co marketing team. Job Description Spotcap is seeking a driven Partner Sales Manager to join our high-achieving Sales business. Based in Sydney, the role will also work closely with our Client Service and Credit teams and is responsible for further developing and building the company's position in Australia. In this role you will: • Activate, penetrate, and develop a portfolio of existing Spotcap partners. • Use various channels to proactively get in front of partners whether that be via phone, email campaigns, webinars, industry conferences, or face-to-face meetings. • Sell the Spotcap SME credit line and loan product to introducers who have an SME client base who don’t yet know they need our awesome products! • Research and analyse sales options, keep on top of industry trends and monitor market activity. • Travel around Australia to meet with existing and potential new partners. Qualifications Our ideal candidate has: • Minimum of three years experience in B2B sales and acquisition. • Demonstrated experience working in financial services or a start-up. • Strong existing relationships with intermediaries, brokers and accountants. • No hesitation to show us that they are a fearless networker who within a short space of time, is able to build solid relationships that yield results. • The demonstrated ability to understand a new market or industry and break into it - we want people that can show us some hustle and grit • A driven, ambitious, and assertive nature. • No hesitation to get on the phone to open new door and the skills to get your key message across concisely and effectively. • The ability to make sound business decisions on the fly and is able to work well independently. • A clear understanding of Australia’s business landscape and is a native or bilingual English speaker. • No problem travelling regularly within Australia to meet new partners and cement relationships. • The desire to be part of a high-growth startup business that is both exciting to work for and personally challenging
