Job OverviewContent As the Director, Learning and Development, you will work across the various business units in North America to drive sales training and development programs to meet the unique needs of each sales team. Your role will entail to partner with European Senior Leadership, XPO Sales leaders, Sales Ops team, and HR team members to drive impactful learning and development projects into the XPOE Sales organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Be able to champion and drive process improvement projects and challenge the business to eliminate duplicative process and waste in the sales and sales support functions • Assess the developmental needs of the sales teams and provide recommendations, training designs, and plans to drive impact sales effectiveness. • Select and manage programming and vendors to drive overall Sales Culture and Reinforcement through Europe • Create and curate content from various business partners to ensure consistency with Global Sales Process and associated tools. • Create, facilitate and evaluate sales-related development events and programs – including role play exercises, sales meetings, training events, coaching calls, etc. • Partner closely with Global Sales Ops to drive adoption and usage of OneCRM (Salesforce) and other tools. • Propose and track key performance metrics associated with sales development activities and provide guidance to the business leaders on impact and opportunities.
